    he didn't miscalculate his value.

    Parsons isn't worth 15m.

but some ******* was willing to throw the kitchen sink at him

You're right, I didn't word it right. He miscalculated what some thought his value was. Parsons actual value is probably 12 mil max, but everyone knows that front offices overpay all the time in order to convince a player to come to a less preferable atmosphere. I don't think it was all spite, Dallas would have had to overpay a FA regardless.

    We just got Boozered

Same thing happened to Cleveland with Carlos Boozer. Chandler never played up to 15mil a season and probably never will. Its funny that's he's making more than dirk nodefense for the next three years.

Agreed. And vet dregs like Casspi/Garcia are not enough, may be time to roll dice on some of those Euro stashes like Papanikolaou and Gentile. Big Papa brings hustle on D & stretch 4 while Gentile brings wing scoring & playmaking.

Now this was surprising though I pointed out how Leslie is cheap and he proves it yet again. Don't give me that **** that we were not contenders with Parsons. That's because you (MOREY) failed to talk to all possible free agents before letting go of Chandler and in case Bosh and Melo weren't coming. We could've easily been contenders with signing a Stephenson and or Ariza + Hawes / Frye / Anderson + Morrow / Miller along with signing Parsons...Also how about trying to trade for Millsap / Horford or any other good big man? The excuses for Morey makes Clutchfans look really stupid and the Rockets are becoming the laughing stock of the NBA's possible top 10 teams. Dwight Howard, you best believe the guy is pissed and chemistry could become a serious problem.

Chandler thinks he is Tmac and Rockets are the Raptors and he was used as a Role player and now he can be a star in Dallas which was Orlando for Tmac.

    Way to go.

Beverley will hold down the fort. He should be the rock for this franchise.

I still wished we could get Lowry.

Kevin Ding is annoying. He tried hard to drive the Harden v. Lin narrative all season w/ no basis.

blame his own agent Fegan. they totally mis-read the Rockets.

if he thinks Parsons is the key to winning it all, then he's delusional

    everyone, just breathe

we survived losing Yao and TMac to injuries. we survived giving up our fan favorites Lowry, Dragic and Scola

we'll survive this as well. it was a mutual parting of ways. Parsons didn't want HOU and certainly Les didn't want Parsons at that price

the team will survive this ... onus is on Harden and Howard to grow, no more Parsons to hold your hands. grow up and take leadership of your own destiny, of this team

no more whining please from those two

We survived but we didn't win. I'm sick and ****ing tired of surviving. We want to win, surviving is for losers.

I'm confused, people on the GARM actually wanted him to match that AWFUL contract?

Even Deeks the salary guru was pro-matching.

Yeah, this still sucks. Not so much for losing Parsons as to how Dwight and James will react in the coming months.

Frustrating that the rockets are not willing to spend money to keep quality players. E.g. Parsons and Dragic.

Instead they give money to a player like ariza who isnt the most consistent player and is known to play well at the end of his contract.

    Smh.
