Presti is a genius at drafting. Morey is not.

You can't blame Presti for his boss' cheapness.

I don't believe Harden has the talent offensively that Harden has _ but I can see him having as much success as Dragic is having in Phoenix.

Difference between Presti and Morey _ Presti wasn't dumb enough to let Harden out of his contract and got something for him. Morey is standing left with nothing bent over with his pants around his ankles.

But Presti was also dumb enough to sign Kendrick Perkins to an $8 mil a year deal for 4 years

I agree with you 100% I'm not saying Parsons is the second coming of Bird or West or Jesus for that matter LOL i'm saying that we are going to look back at this and say we SHOULD have matched the 15 mil/we shouldn't have let him out of the contract one year early because of the success he will have just like how Dragic is ballin out in PHX

Harden was like 22 and had done more than Parsons who is 25. Parsons isn't worth 15 mil and probably won't ever be.

We also did not get to the NBA finals with this core. That's what made Presti's decision so interesting

Not ths point. Collecting and trading "ASSETS" is Morey's M.O. and his most valuable "Assets" which happened to be one of the few draft picks he didn't F up just walked away from the organization and Morey got nothing for him... And went to freakin Dallas.

I don't even see how the Morey faithful isn't even holding him accountable for this one.

Morey shouldn't have never put himself in that situation. You don't take those type of chances for a 30 year old Chris Bosh. He should have kept Parsons on his rookie contract. Work with him on a deal throughout the year or trade him. But he should have matched him.

I think Parsons is a discount version of PG. His defense should go back to form in Rick Carlisle's slower tempo offense. Having a great coach will benefit him as well.

I bet McHale is made as hell at Morey. Parsons was the 2nd best offensive player on the team (counting points, assist, glue of the offense). These people who are saying Trevor is better are in for a treat.

I've been a Rockets/Texans/Astros fan my entire life and will always be one. I've never understood this infatuation on CF solely on one player i.e. LOF, LOH, HOF, HOH, POF, etc...for me it's what's on the front of the jersey that counts not what's on the back!

He was biding time. He's the king of biding time. And waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Maybe someday. But right now. We wait. And waiting. waiting... still waiting..

Wow. I never thought of it that way. This move could end up like the harden OKC move. 3rd best player on a team wants more money. Parsons won't blow up like harden, but that's not to say Dallas won't excel from this.
