This is also sticking to Morey.

He was claimed to be one of the smartest GM and should not make dumb moveslike this to lose a young asset for NOTHING.

Retain McHale and lose Parsons? Okay Morey needs to officially be fired or step down.

Instead of making him a RFA, if Parsons will not re-up with the Rockets for the price Morey is going to offer, Morey should trade him away, we will still get a **** load for him, maybe not Love like offer but still will be some very good asset.

Now, we got ZERO, NONE, NOTHING.

When we inked that deal, Lin was not meant to be a role player. He became one the second Harden landed in Houston.

They can change their mind. Why Houston made a stupid decision many times?

If the Rockets do sign-and-trade with the Mavs for Parsons (If that is even possible), then what would one expect to get back from the Mavericks for Parsons?

    CALM DOWN

The trades are not over. We will definitely be adding more players to this roster. Morey knows better than wasting one more year of Howard and Harden's prime.

Or perhaps not seeing that he retained the worst coach in the NBA in McHale.

Excellent post!! I agree on all points. What good is cap flexibility if no big names will sign with us. We have literally struck out on every big name but Dwight. I doubt that changes next year or 2016. We sacrificed this season for something that will probably not happen in the future. It makes zero sense!!!

Who would trade for Parsons without knowing Parsons would re-up with them? Not many teams are willing to gamble on a 1-year non-star rental.

The best gamble and time to lose Parsons was this offseason. What sucks is not having the guy's skill for this coming season. But he was going to play the free agency market and, as he just demonstrated, he was going to leave.
