I agree 100%. Parsons would be a nice Manu type off the bench though. Play 32 MPG coming off the pine.

This is for defense, not offense. Good value.

Another signing will come and then Parsons will be matched.

I think Morey has a few more moves and won't match Parsons. Ryan Anderson or someone other big man. I don't see why Ariza wanted to come here unless he was going to start. Wizards and Suns probably offered him more money and a starting job so why Houston?

I don't believe this is a replacement. I think we match at this point.

Wow if we have $23 million tied up at the SF position though. And it's still only going to be our 3rd best position.

Can anybody elaborate on the Parsons trade kicker? Does he just get paid more if he's traded, or is it a 'no-trade clause'?

Parsons off the bench will be expensive as **** but he deserves it. He'll be better off the bench after being one of the most active players in the NBA. May make his effort and focus on D better.

Ariza seems so apathetic about basketball. He better not take too many shots.

So bring back Daniels and match Parsosn and try to find a backup PG.

I would then be content with this off season

    Nelson?

And once there was a first year that Lowry or Kidd was a good shooter.

He's an quality athletic defender who if keeps up his 3 point shooting is an absolute steal at that price.

Very smart deal dude is money from three and very athletic, I guess most of you don't watch other teams in the playoffs this is a steal. We now can keep Parson and use either one of them to get a Power Forward in a few months.

Ariza at that contract DEF looks like trade bait. Either that or a solid role player at the rig place for the next couple of years of contention. I want them to match Parsons just to screw Mavs. Now at Ariza is gone, Deng soon to be, Vince Carter... Marion is all that's really left for them if we sign Parsons
