It's a good place for Lin to play. He has a chance to push the pace and pass the ball and have the ball in his hands. Lakers lose Farmer and signed Lin, I would say that's an upgrade for the Lakers.

Lakersground is hilarious right now. Lin fans saying he could be a top 3 Lakers point guard in their history.

Kobe is going to destroy his confidence as he won't stand for Lin's dribbling to the paint with his head down and jumping in the air

Only number three? Who is number 1 and 2 then? I mean he is obviously already better than Magic and West. Did you see him in the Spurs game when Harden was out?

Once he improves his jump shot and cuts down on the turnovers, he arguably could be in the conversation for top 3 in NBA history.

    ;)

I think it's a good spot for Jeremy. He'll have a chance to shine. Bryant will probably be hobbled enough early that Lin can exhibit his offensive skills before Kobe starts demanding the ball, over and over and over again. The West Coast is loaded with Lin fans. Frankly, I'm a little surprised that the Warriors didn't deal for him, but the need probably wasn't there (or the cap room, maybe). He would be a huge draw there, and they will be in the same division, which should be fun for him. It's his home state. Hell, the Rockets did him a favor, in my humble opinion.

Yup, I was surprise he got traded there.

One of the best place for him.

Now it's up to him whether to shine or not.

Les loved his guy I guess.

The Lakers goal seemed to be to help us get Bosh and in effect knock us out of the Durant sweepstakes (he doesn't fit alongside Melo so NY isn't really), no one wants to go against Har...err Houston for Durant. You only need to look at the drop in Durant's playoff percentages to see how Harden helps his game, and that doesn't even touch on their friendship.

Top Lakers point guards are the following:

    1. Magic
    2. Gail Goodrich
    3. Derek Fisher
    4. Norm Nixon
    5. Nick Van Smack

Unless Lin leads the Lakers to a couple rings, he can only suplant Van Exel. But imagine how big linsanity will get if the Lakers win it all behind Jeremy Lin.

Shame D'Antoni quit, he could've made Lin another 25 mil.

I guess you forgot Lin played in the NY market before he came to Houston. Bravo VHB.
