They just re-signed everyone, may still get Gasol, and their championship is the WC finals..

They present a great challenge for the Rockets. Who doesn't like a challenge? Remember we beat them in the regular season. I'm not saying we would've won in the playoffs but it's not a foregone conclusion that we'll lose.

Rockets fans should embrace the adversity of facing and beating a worthy adversary. You don't want an easy road.

The Spurs lost to every top team in the regular season, but they completely destroyed them in the post season,ASK the blazers.

They did not totally destroy everyone. Dallas took them to 7 games, and the Thunder would have beat them if Ibaka was healthy.

Sooner or later the Spurs will hit the wall. Kahwi is good, but how good will he be after Duncan, Parker and Ginobili are gone?

People have been saying this for years. I read 3 years ago that the Spurs were done and then they had their most dominating season ever.

A front court rotation of Duncan, Gasol and Splitter would be tough to defend and tough to attack. At present and probably for the next two years, that rotation would kill our thin rotation of Howard, D-Mo and T-Jo.

Furthermore, Gasol doesn't have to log heavy minutes. I think that might be the best thing about playing within the Spurs system.

You get to not only rest, but also, win.

If Gasol goes to the Bulls, they win the East but still lose the finals. If he goes to OKC or the Spurs, they're probably the favorites to win it all.

Maybe they will actually beat the Rockets then - something they haven't done in quite a while.
