Not if we keep trading guys for nothing and drafting guys who aren't coming here

Why are people talking about the money like it's a huge difference?

Like Jalen Rose always says, comparing the max five year deal vs the max four is pointless. Bosh would get a nice contract for that extra year anyways when he was done with four.

Bosh chose the location his family wanted

Makes me realize how much I love this guy.

Right now James and Dwight need the mentality of "Meh, we don't need these guys because we are enough."

Two superstars are enough to win in this league, they need to go out and prove it.

Bosh took more money and a longer contract. I don't blame him for that. The only thing saying that he strung the Rockets along was rumor.

We don't know that Bosh made a verbal commitment except by some rumor.

I'm not going to hate a guy based on an unverified rumor.

It does suck to lose out on Bosh, but I can't blame him.

No sense??? Do you guys really think Bosh is just going to come to Houston and be a 3rd option?

He wants to be the FIRST option if it nots Lebron. Heat gives him that and money. Plus Bosh can still get the Heat to the playoffs in the Eastern conference.

Sure about that? Maybe they're preparing for a lockout

Howard is in denial if he thinks the Rockets have enough to win.
If it starts with him and James then it will end with him and James losing in the 1st rd AGAIN.

Do you think that Morey would give up two picks and a player for nothing then?

I mean that Morey would give up Lin and picks and have no word whatsoever from Bosh?

Probably the best thing to come out of this is that our two superstars get pissed and really come on stronger this year to prove their value in the NBA! (HOPEFULLY)

Referencing Jalen Rose's wisdom... strong indictment on yourself. in 4 years Bosh will be ~34 and what he would be worth is dependent on what he does for the next 4 years and what the market is in 4 years... in other words it is a COMPLETE unknown. Not a single one of us would give up a tenth of what he would be giving up. Again the issue is not the decision, but the way in which we got there.

    It does.

Howard made it to the finals on a less talented team.

Hakeem won a championship not with stars around him.

You can win with two superstars. They just have to be great when it matters.

Thunder have two superstars and the Lakers have been winning with Kobe + Big man.

    It can be done.
