I think a 54 win team where PF was the weakest position would be something to worry about making it to the finals with Bosh as the PF.

Of course SA and OKC aren't going anywhere. Clippers = Fakers just like the Lakers. Dallas? Bwahahahaha (even with Parsons)

At least with the decision we knew when exactly lebron was gonna make a decision. Now, all we get are tweets saying he's going to decide at such and such time, then at that time.....nothing

Bosh is one of the best defenders at the PF spot. He's an excellent PnR defender unlike Dwight (err Bosh comes out to contest the jump shooter)

You can't match THEN sign Bosh. Wont' have enough coin under the cap.

I saw we go sign Hill and whomever else we can before ultimately matching Parsons. I don't know who all we can get to build up our bench, but it's Morey's job to get the right people and structure deals that we can live using our cap before signing Parsons.

what? dudes are ready to rip him for all this, and he hasnt officially said anything. its what these "reporters" are saying that riles everyone up.

thats why we should wait for something official than to go off these random twitter reporters.

According to Bima, we can still sign and trade for him though. but the Miami has all the leverage.

no one debunked anything. It's all a bunch of noise at this point. This guy could be right. He could be wrong.

To me, the options look like this now:

Plan A: Bosh and match Parsons (give Bosh until noon tomorrow)

Plan B: Luol Deng and match Parsons (give Deng until the end of 72 hour match period)

Plan C: Let Parsons walk. Keep Lin (to use as future salary in trades/depth), sign J.Hill and PJ Tucker or Shawn Marion. This is the live to fight another day scenario, rather than striking out on the big fish and then tying up all of our future cap space on Chandler. I just don't see how you can match Chandler unless you get Bosh or Deng with him.

You give Bosh a deadline, pull the offer, match Parsons and move on.

Bosh's agent knows exactly what's at stake here for his client, AND the Rockets if Bosh doesn't make a decision inside the next 24 hours. Either way, we are the team that has offered him a max contract, and it would be insulting to keep us waiting past the match period for Parsons. Bosh has to make a decision no matter what LeBron is doing.

Yep and playing WITH Parsons is part of the appeal to signing in Houston. Bosh isn't stupid enough to delay this past the deadline and have a weaker team. But damn all these reports that Lebron won't even return his calls..... is Bosh really that much of a b**** not to get the hint?
