It's hilarious that people hate Lin because of his fans. You can say that you don't want him on this team because of his play to production ratio, but why the hell would you hate Lin because of a couple of loudmouth fans?

No, you are just showing how dumb you are. Just because a player is a Rocket does not make us unconditionally love said player. It also depends on his skills and behavior. Ever heard of Scottie Pippen? We love the team. That's what being a fan of the Rockets mean. If a player also deserves our love playing for our team, then we extend it to them.

By the way, Lin is the FIRST player I've seen where his fans made so many Rockets fans dislike the guy. Even Yao and T-Mac never had that issue. People had plenty of reason to hate on T-Mac, but his fans was never one of them, just an object of ridicule. Yao fans were bad as well, but that never stopped us from mostly appreciating Yao.

 

i'm sorry to have to break this to you but, the rockets don't love you. they only like you as a friend. a distant friend.
