Mavs sign Chandler Parsons to 3-year, $46M offer sheet

Well yeah, of course. I want him to announce ASAP because I don't give two poops about him and his family, I care about the Rockets. I want him to hurry up so the Rockets can get on with their deal.

That makes me frustrated and annoyed at the wait, but it doesn't mean he is doing something wrong, deserves to be hated or worse, as Bobby said in another thread, deserves violence and vandalism to fall on his home where his kids are.

I said this in the other thread but I'll say it here too:

Over the weekend Bosh spoke directly with Lebron. Something in that phone call prompted Bosh to have his agent reach out to the Rockets to orchestrate a soft landing place and then Bosh spoke directly with the Rockets himself.

Why do you think that happened? Perhaps because Lebron told him then he wouldn't commit to staying and that Bosh needed to take care of himself and his family?

Since then, it was reported that Lebron is not taking any calls from anyone anymore, including Bosh.

I get that Bosh wants to play with Lebron first and foremost. I would too, but at this point if you wait around for him and get burned that's on you, not him.

 

We can still have Kevin Love if we deal Parsons. He's not going anywhere until Dec rolls around and Parsons could be dealt.

Let me get this straight. You ended up hating LeBron when he left Cleveland because he wanted to team up with other superstars and win, and he took much less money in the process to do so.

Now you're mad at Carmello for not being about winning and only taking the money?

If this part is indeed true then i understand, but still man but Bosh maybe holding out for a miracle or some thing. Therefore Lebron is still holding people hostage.

Minnesota wants parsons on his rookie contract or a reasonable 8-10 mil/year contract. Not on a 15 mil/year with a player option. Not to mention the trade kicker in his contract would make it even harder to deal him anywhere. If we resign Parsons to that contract he will be very hard to trade.

 

Sounds like Donnie Nelson doesn't want Parsons (at least not for that price), but Cuban is pushing for the deal.
