well! Rockets fans act like they are top management of this team.
Utah Jazz give Hayward that size contract.
    then what will we do???

We get nothing when we unload Lin it's just a salary dump

It's Parsons or bosh not both

Either we match and are over the cap

    Or

We sign bosh, let Parsons walk and lose Lin and asik

If we match this crazy offer, then we would have 3 max contract players and no second round to speak of.

It would be hard to justify paying Parsons more than Harden. Glad its not my money.

If the Rockets are able to move Asik to NO in a couple of days, how much cap room can they acquire? I didn't add Lin, because I assume he will be harder to move.

I am not in favor of matching Parsons, but I wouldn't be surprised if Les does match him at the 3 day deadline.

Parsons wouldn't be making more per year, $700,000 less on average.

Any way to get Ariza back? If so, I wouldn't pay that much to a glorified role player who doesn't like to play defense, Bosh or no Bosh.

Match it and everything will be okay in a few years when the cap is expected to increase with these new TV contracts.

Parson's better start playing some defense for that kind of money.

Match if you get Bosh, otherwise you'll have to take a hard look about future flexibility; though Chandler's contract will be pretty much indicative of what dollar figures are going to be prominent with the ballooning salary cap with the new TV deal.

Add his poor defense, and his bad back to that list as well.

If Howard and Harden think it's worth signing him and feel that what he adds to the team is worth it, I'd do it. In fact, I'd most likely do it.

hell to the no, we're still gonna have to pay beverley and jones eventually, who are arguably just as valuable as him, or close to it.
