3 of the 4 pages for this thread "so far" are full of dumb questions full of garbage that make sorting through threads on here a pain. so if cyberx does reply to questions sadly you will have to read several pages of junk posts in order to filter out the legit logical questions.

I'd like to ask if we have anything in the works to acquire Rajon Rondo trade wise?

If Parsons is offered a Max Deal do we match it?

And if he does get a Max deal would we trade him for a legit all star like Kevin Love or Rajon Rondo?

I'm curious how it all works. You got GMs, players, and agents and they all have a unique position to speak from. Are GMs generally on the same page(except when in competition with each other) or are they going through various "sources" like we are trying to understand what's real?

What goes into a player deciding on a free agency destination? Is there generally a presentation or is that only in the case of the top tier of athlete like we have seen with LBJ, Bosh, etc?

How often do other players influence a free agency decision? I always hear Player A is good friends with Player B but rarely does it seem that makes a difference in their business decision.

Yup, but 9/10 questions here are childish BS with no correlation to basketball.

 

I think the thread's gone in a healthy, fun direction, actually.

He seems very busy and he shares tidbits in a clear way, or as clear as he feels he can make them when he can. That's why I think taking this thread seriously is, well, misdirected. cyberx shares when he can, and if I'm him, I'd hate to be pelted with dozens of random questions. At least the silly ones are obviously silly, while some of the other basketball questions are either repetitive or misinformed.

Players get paid according to their contract. Kobe had it in his contract where he got paid like 80% before the start of the season..
