Lebron is actually saying he needs help in MIAMI, even with Wade & Bosh, that's why it seems far-fetched he goes to Cleveland if they 'only' have Irving, Waiters, Thompson, Varejoa and Wiggins etc. The whole Lebron is good enough does not hold in his own mind nor does he have any illusions about winning a title with that group.

By the way, Olajuwon had Otis Thorpe and Maxwell who could've been All-Stars in 93-94 and years prior (of course OT was in 91-92).

You may be right, but this is not a team I want to face in the finals:

    Varejao/Love (5)
    Love/Melo (4)
    Melo/LBJ (3)
    LBJ/Ray Allen/ (2)
    Waiters/LBJ (1)

    Hence, the KLove trade rumors.

If Love gets there, they almost have a bye to the Finals in the east. Same way he has had a Bye to the finals with the heat these last few years. Specially if Rose doesnt recover.

they's need to dump Varejao too,

they are 24M under the cap, Irving makes $7,459,924

so they could not make two max offers, only 15.5M each.

releasing Varejo, they could offer each 20-21 million, Not max still, but close. But you'd have no center, at all.

Varejao's contract is partially guaranteed for $4m I'm pretty sure. I also don't see them getting rid of him, the injuries are a bit of a concern, but he's turned himself into an excellent player in a position of need.

Wade already won a ring WITHOUT LBJ. Bosh was a 25pt 10reb player before Miami. Lebron didn't make them better, they were already elite. Jordan MADE Pippen a superstar pushing him in practice. Kobe won 2 rings with Gasol. Who are the "multiple allstars" he played with? If Lebron goes to Cleveland, he'll have a allstar in Kyrie and a potential star in Wiggins ( or possibly Love). That's more than enough to win. If he's truly the "King" he'll make Cleveland a contender

Be a fun team to watch though. Love at center, Melo and Lebron both playing together as hybrid 3/4s, and run the hell outta the other team.

in all fairness, your original claim was "multiple" all-stars or HOFers. Now you are just claiming one all-star or HOFer

Shaq and Gasol were never on the same team. Don't think Bynum was an all-star for any of the Lakers' title years.

Just cuz a guy makes one all-star game, doesn't make him part of a "Big 3". For example, I wouldn't consider Horace Grant, Wally Szerbiak, or James Donaldson anything close to cornerstone type players even though each has made an all-star game. Old dudes way past their prime don't really count either.

They didn't draft that bad post-Lebron.

You have to look at teams like the Timberwolves or Wizards to see organizations that draft poorly. Its just their pieces don't fit so well, and there were other players that ended up being better.
