He met up with Nike so they can change the design on his upcoming ugly shoe called the "LeBron 12", because he knows most people would not buy this.
Nike marketing strategy meeting? Why would he need one if he's just gonna stay in Miami. Black t shirt, lion on the back and on the front above the Nike check: RETURN OF THE KING. He tipped his hand. LeBron is going back to Cleveland!!!
Exactly, he got so little flack I forgot about his whole crying scheme. Players in the NBA run the league and they deserve to be happy but Dwight is a pariah in this situation and he truthfully handled his business as well if not better than other major stars as of late. or Pau Gasol in Memphis / his 10 minutes in Houston ( I WANT TO GO BACK TO LA ) or KG in Minnesota
You're wasting your work day. They can't sign until tomorrow 7/9 anyway. That's the day to start truly wasting away work days on Clutchfans.
This is not a smoking gun. I'm sure there are marketing strategy meetings every offseason at least if not multiple times a year. If I know one thing, marketing strategy types will have more meetings to talk strategy than you could imagine. If they loop Lebron into a few of them each year to present their plan, I think that's just business as usual.
He's gone. Right now Nike is printing the t shirts for his home coming rally and presser on Friday. Pop the champagne Bosh is ours
But during this time of the offseason? That is strange. Then again, Bosh is in India, so maybe players dont really feel the pressure of signing. Specially since the 10th is when players can sign.
I think Bosh is ours but ultimately Lebron would never tell Nike that he was leaving before telling Riley or anyone else.
Why not? They pay him more than Nike does and he is actually under contract with them. He might have wanted to clear his decision with them first.
As I said earlier. Riley isn't going to make LeBron a billionaire. Nike can. He will get his own brand of shoes by the time he is done, just like Jordan. He will be a billionaire at some point. His shares in Beats clearly indicate his investors are amazing at their jobs.
