Where do you go to get a great donut? Additionally, what's your favorite types of donuts? I'd have to say tiger tails, boston creme, and chocolate filled eclairs for me.
Yummy donuts in La Porte off of Spencer Hwy/Underwood. Best regular glazed donut EVAH!!! I have had them all, and this is hands down the best. Also they have boudin kolaches! YAY!
Shipley's is definitely the best bang for your buck, no doubt. A lot of people hate on Dunkin' Donuts, but their cake donuts (my favorite kind) are crazy good, IMO.
DD has the better coffee, too. If that is in your mix of best donut shops And I'm not talking DaDakota , either btw: what's up with these hip coffee shops putting bacon on glazed donuts. Who is making these and why. This is a wee bit beyond my love for bacon. What's next ? Bacon on sushi?
OK wait. I was equally amazed by the waffles and fried chicken thing . I didn't grasp that either. I'm perfectly fine with adding bacon to that But this is different. The donuts are sitting in the display case with bacon on top of them. Or worse glazed over. I want my bacon fresh
You do know that Dunkin's donuts are frozen after being made in a warehouse somewhere and reheated at the store?
