Yea I agree but I think we still prefer melo. I just don't think he prefers us, what kind of indications did you receive to believe melo was headed here?

Rockets giving no effs. They're willing to speed up this FA process started if Melo and Lebron won't. Will definitely force lebrons hand to do something if Bosh is gone.

 

I remember Lebron making his decision after bosh and wade in 2010...so maybe his timing has nothing to do with it all...but, this has to be why there is such a delay on Melo right? Although I really don't see how this makes Melo change his mind on anything. Teaming up in LA was never realistic IMO.

 

LOVE that this has been leaked. Tells Melo that if he's serious about LA/NYK, then fine, but if he's using it as leverage to S&T to CHI, we won't be here waiting with closer to max $$ when the leverage play falls through as we've got a damn good, realistic backup. Morey wants to move onto the rest of his plans...

 

Melo may have overplayed his hand...crazy
