: ) -- Came across a FOX Sports article today about Dwight's baggage. Decided not to post because just not in the mood to focus on that stuff now, especially because I believe Dwight can turn things around here. But one thing in the article I thought worthwhile to share: ""Houston, especially if Howard’s healthy and beneficial to his team, will be a joy to watch." Oh, and also this: "First came James Harden, comfortable, happy. When he entered the little room, Harden spotted another guy with a massive beard and shouted, “Beard man!” and clasped his hand."
FIrst round exit? You would have told me I'm crazy! Howard the least of the Rockets problems but... it was supposed to be better than this. 9 game regular season improvement; 2-4 first round exit. Again.
Hardly anything to do with Dwight, he had a massive series. McHale was brought in for a team going down, not a contender.
Welp. This season was a definite failure. Dwight deserved so much better. Teammates and coach consistently let him down.
Yeah, but he struggled so badly last year. He played so well this season but it was just his first year. I am sure Rockets will make major changes this offseason to assure we will advance 1st round next year. Rockets should get Carmelo and fire McHale.
Dwight came here to get saved from post season futility only to realize that this is yet another franchise that needs to be saved...
Dwight is the Rockets' Andre Johnson. He puts it all out on the court and his pathetic teammates fail him.
I was on a cruise on the way to Mexico in the EA Sports Bar and I was talking to the Comedian on the ship about how I knew that Dwight was going to go to Houston and why he wasn't going to stay on the Lakers and then BOOM it hit the screen. "Breaking News: Dwight Howard has chosen to Join Rockets" and than I did a little dance! Good times!
Did anyone else see the thread title and think....."WE LANDED DWIGHT!?!?!?....oh wait, this was last year" i did, lol
