Not getting too excited, but if legit, I'm going with Melo signing with Houston. 4 years is max we can offer him right now, thus why over next 4 years we should only be able make small moves. Also, reports of Knicks meeting with Melo in LA may be indication he was impressed with Rox (or Mavs) pitch. Don't think LA has a shot.

 

I don't think it's Melo... He's still meeting with LA and the Knicks, there's no other reports that he's close to a decision. Same with Lebron, too early for a decision.

Shaun is saying that it's a done deal, just needs to be filed with the league office, so my guess is that it's for Love (plus extension), and then we re-sign Parsons.

 

Sounds to me that he liked the Rockets pitch so much, that he literally ran late to the Mavs.

 

I think it is Love as well.

No disrespect to Melo - he is a great player and brings a lot to the table. Love is just such a better fit.

Wow, who would have thought that we would have this many options for a team that is already stacked with talent? Such a 180 from the team 3 years ago.
