I think Spurs have to win game 1 at home, and it'll set the tone for the series. If they give this one away, Miami will have huge momentum. You've got to hold serve.
Healthy Wade will make a big difference but won't be enough to overcome the Spurs HCA, improved role players and Miami's aging role players. And get ready for this, I think Lebron has lost a half step. He looks almost human at times now and Leonard is going to give him problems. Sure, he will still get his 25/6/6 but Miami needs more from him to win this series. Oh, and don't expect Ginobli to play as poorly as he did in last year's finals or for Ray Allen to turn back the clock for more than 2-3 quarters this entire series.
I am worried about game 1 for the Spurs: Scott Foster is the head official. And the line is moving now at -5...
I honestly can't tell who's going to win. I think it really depends on how far Lebron can carry the Heat and how healthy Tony Parker is.
The last 3 champions lost game 1. Lebron is shooting 56% in the playoffs. That's a CAREER HIGH. BY A LOT.
Everyone is focusing on how Parker will play, but I think Leonard and Diaw are ones to keep an eye on, as well. If the former can do something about that LeBron guy, and if the latter can maintain his playmaking, the Spurs look great.
FINALly. Too late to vote, but for the record going with the Heat in 6. Win #1 tonight. And despite being a LBJ fan, I can't help but also root for Duncan and Pop to pull off another title. But something's got to give. I wonder if this series can top last years.
