I think Roy worked out with Tim Duncan the last two years. Is that a dig at TD?

People may trey to downplay Grangers importance in that locker room, but the way that team played after getting Turner and losing Granger seemed a lot different to me in both confidence and actual on court play.

What other thing could it have been if not someone screwing with the team chemistry?

They had a very easy early schedule and PG's shooting percentage was abnormally high.

Regression to the mean was expected.

Yeah, I get that....regression to the mean can happen to anyone(Hi Jeremy!) but that team almost looked like two different teams out there. You dont normally see it happen to that extent.

Lance Stephenson was very miffed at not being selected to the all-star game.

Following what he viewed as perceived snub, his game changed right after the all-star break and he became more of a ball-pounder / scorer and less of a distributor. This rubbed a lot of teammates the wrong way. He seemed to be all about his stats, even hogging rebounds by pushing better-positioned teammates out of the way.

Then Hibbert made the "selfish dudes" comment, which was 100% about Lance, but it really ticked everyone off at him for airing dirty laundry in public, even though a lot of them were also ticked off at Lance. Now they were ticked off at Roy, and people were making up crazy stories about girlfriends and wives.

Roy's mouth and sulky attitude pushed things way over the edge.

Pal George had some pouty moments with the off the court stuff, and that hurt him but I don't think it affected others as much

So I'd give the blame as follows:

    50% Lance
30% Roy (for escalating it dramatically by his mouth)
    10% Paul George
10% Frank Vogel for not reigning it in sooner
    0% Bynum
    0% loss of Granger
    0% Turner

Just my opinion based on stories I've heard.
