They're not winning it. You can see how livid Lebron was in the post-game. He's going to personally send them home.

Look at the first foul (the trip). It looks like George's right leg gets caught on Bosh, not Lebron. It's a foul, but it shouldn't have been called on Lebron.

Even though they called the charge call a 50-50, look at the commentary:

George has clearly not gotten position and is still moving when James makes contact. Not just his feet, but his whole body. He hasn't established position.

    In other words, bad call.

    3 bad calls (#1,2,3)
    1 50/50 call (#5)
    1 good call (#4)

And those first 3 bad calls sent Lebron to the bench.

    NBA is still a joke.

i would say this game was rigged, but usually you have to be a lot more subtle when rigging things. lebron james, one of the lowest foul rate players ever, with 5 fouls in 13 minutes? i mean you have to try a little better to hide that paul george's comments affected you.

reffing seems to be like flagrant fouls for the heat. the heat can be called for flagrant fouls, but you can flagrant foul the heat all you want and it won't be called during the game, only upgraded by the league later. same with free throw disparities. if you shoot way more free throws than the heat, nothing is mentioned. if the heat shoot way more, it becomes a story and the refs get the heat back the next game. i remember paul pierce fouling out of a heat playoff game a few years ago and after everybody decided the refs helped the heat, the very next game lebron fouled out of his first playoff game of his career. now paul george complains about a big free throw disparity as if there wasn't a big disparity for indy in game 1, and suddenly lebron is getting called for absolutely everything that happens, including getting his 5th foul on a play where he was the one who was fouled. we all know refs tend to make superstars earn foul calls when they are in foul trouble. in this case, we actually have a dwight howard/joel freeland situation where they actually decided that fouling lebron was a foul on lebron and made him sit for a quarter, which just happened to be when the pacers went on a run.

That's too general of a statement. How about some examples?

What about the Brooklyn/Miami game at the end of the season where there was a lot of contact between Plumlee and Lebron on Lebron's game winning dunk attempt, and there was no foul called?

Because 100% of the contact was on the hand, while the hand was on the ball. The hand is part of the ball, so it is no foul, by rule.

It was AMAZING that it wasn't called though, given the King's lofty status, but the CORRECT non-call was made.

people expect scrubs to get the same calls as superstars and vice-versa?

even in the nfl, superstar cornerbacks get away with MUCH more than your average cornerback and all-pro offensive lineman get away with holding all the time.

in baseball, superstar pitchers get generous strike zones more than your average pitcher.

Yes, that's my point. It was the correct non-call in favor a "scrub" (Plumlee) at the expense of Lebron.
