    Who would you rather have?

Howard is stronger which helps him be a better rebounder and post scorer (though it isn't efficient overall when you consider the TOs and PPP).

Other than that Serge is younger, a better shooter (from the line, from midrange and from the 3), quicker, more athletic, seemingly smarter, "healthier", and on a much better contract.

Which GM would be more inclined to discuss a Perkins/Ibaka for Howard trade? I know it doesn't seem like a likely scenario. But Ibaka's friendly contract plus Perkins expiring would open up space for any max (with Lin and Asik expiring then too).

Ibaka would open up driving lanes which would help Harden, Lin. And more time for Asik too since he could play with Serge.

Howard is a class above Ibaka.

Presti did amazing job. Durant, WB and Ibaka(plus Harden) should be #1 overall picks in a lot of drafts.

    How so?

Cap wise with Harden making the first max, serge making less than the max, and parsons upcoming deal that can be delayed til next summer....we would have enough room to get another max guy plus have Harden, Ibaka and Parsons.

I think the pros are there.

Ibaka is closer to a role player, although a really good one. Howard can take over games.

Ibaka is so overrated it isn't even funny anymore.

Obviously Howard. His impact defensively is far greater, better rebounder and better offensive post presence.

I agree with that. What do you think of a lineup of Bev, Harden, Parsons, Love, Ibaka?

If Love becomes an FA next summer we could have that 5 on long term deals.

Next let's discuss Lebron or Parsons, and Harden or J.R. Smith.

Lets not forget about Ibaka faking a season ending injury.

If Dwight did that ****, the media would rip him into pieces. But because its Ibaka, the media tries to turn him into the legendary Willis Reed.

Howard may be better but is he a better fit? He's older, makes a lot more, is more of an injury risk, not a good ft shooter, has no range, turns the ball over a lot, etc.

Ibaka, Harden, Parsons, 2015 Max (love?) could be your Core Four for a Spursian time.

The cap hit from Howard isn't going to make much difference concerning Parsons. The Rockets can still get another max player and keep Parson, Harden and Howard.

Ibaka is a role player (although a very good one). He is not the overall defender that Howard is, nor is he a rebounder. Also Howard is a legitimate 5, Ibaka isn't.

Serge is very good but he isn't in Howard's class.

Also, if Ibaka is really as good as Howard... Then OKC has real issues if they cannot beat SA with KD, RW and Ibaka.

Smh, clutchfans, I am dissapoint. Ibaka is playing a ROLE. He's there to block shots and play defense. You CANNOT build a team around him. He cannot take a team to the finals if he's your best player, (dwight did it) it's as simple as that.

Ibaka is not a full time 5... He is a 4.

    Howard/Anthony/Parsons/Harden/Beverley

clearly it has to be Howard... Ibaka, even if some people think he is a better defender, he can't create anything for himself on offense. All of his scoring is directly from what others (Durant/Westbrook) create for him. Howard is a beast on both ends of the floor!

Ibaka can block shots, and take open jumpers.

Howard has been the #1 option on a finals team.

I don't think he faked it, and he came back as soon as could..
