Would you stop following the Rockets if they traded Lin?

Not surprised at the numbers except that there's that many that would admit it.

 

I stopped watching the Rockets when Yao retired. And i will do the same if Lin traded else where. The sad thing is I don't have a team to cheer for if Lin sucks and the team sucks. I was hoping the Kings becoming a good team since I live in Sactown and have been a Kings fan during the Webber's era...but they continue to suck every year...so i wasn't really a King's fan these days. If Lin traded else where and that team suck....then it'll be a boring season for me.

 

It's like the house of Clutchfans has a big ant mound on it's lawn

 

I am surprised at the staggering numbers of LOF's. However, maybe I should not be.

Is this supposed to be a feel-good thread, showing that people rooting for a team for the "right" reason? Is OP feeling better now, just curious?

 

This poll is proof that Clutchfans is nothing without Lin fans. If Lin left and the LOFs left, clutch would have to go under due to the staggering loss of traffic

Roughly half the fan base doesnt care whether the Rockets win or lose as long as Lin plays well?

clutchfans was launched in 1996

Lin has been here (on this world) 8 years longer than clutchfans has.

You can be primarily a fan of Lin and still want the Rockets to win. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive...

 

Lin is the candle that shines a light in this dark.

Without Lin, there is no hope.

 

If you would stop watching the Rockets if they traded Lin, then Lin's performance is more important than the teams performance.

 

I am sure this poll is scientific proof that Lin fans outnumber Rockets fans on Clutchfans. If only we had JCDenton's graphs, this would be perfect.

This place has never been quiet and frankly Houston is too crowded so we'd all enjoy that day !

 

Even though there was a lot of traffic before Lin was here, Lin attracted a lot of traffic here too.
