seriously wondering if Harden is a playoff top dog ever since his poor series vs Miami in the finals.. last season he had an OK series vs OKC, but against the spurs in the WCF, he just lit them up.. but then again he was option #3 on that squad.. I'm a big Harden fan, but jeez I can't stand his lack of effort!! it infuriates me! also mad that mchale has not gotten these guys ready to come out and play. its been a terrible 2 games, but like dwight said, its first to 4 wins.

I bet LMA will still put up at least 35 pts if Rockets play snail basketball.

My positive thought for the day... all the Rockets need to do is win game three. Sure, its in POR, but we have won there before. Also, three-game losing streaks have been few and far between.

Lets win game three... then worry about the rest of the series.

I don't think starting Lin is the answer. Have him come off the bench and drill it in his head to always attack attack attack. He has the reigns when Harden and Dwight are sitting, not Parsons or Bev. He should be able to wreak havoc on Portland's bench.

And will it kill McHale to play DMo or Daniels for a little bit? They can't be any worse than the crap we've seen from the other guys.

James Harden is following the footsteps of Vernon "MADMAX" Maxwell.

!994 playoff series against the Phoenix Suns, Rockets were down 0-2 going on the road.

Maxwell's stats through first 2 games:
    7/28 FG (25%), 3/13 (23%) 3PT

    GAME 3 on the Road:
    14/24 FG (58%), 4/7 3Pt (57%), 34 Pts

Harden's first 2 games of this series:
    14/47 FG (29%), 5/19 (26%) 3PT

Game 3 WILL BE A BIG BOUNCE BACK!!

    * Hakeem also had a monster Game 1 and Game 2 in that series just like Dwight has this series. Hakeem "only" scored 26 pts in Game 3 and focused on rebounding and locking down the paint. I look for Dwight to take a step back and focus on the defensive end FOR A ROCKETS WIN!!

    LETS GO ROCKETS

Personally, I think this series is done. It's tought to win on someone's else home court with all the fans cheering and motivating the other team. But i hope i am wrong though.

I hope Joey Crawford is there to help the game in the rockets favor. what would be the point for the NBA to bounce the rockets out of the first round without some drama. Especially since the rockets have some of the most bankable stars in the league

Portland was able to do just that in Houston, we can too. I just hope home court calls from Joey Crawford don't dictate the outcome of the game. I expect to see the Rockets that we saw at the beginning of this year. No more life lines...

Why would you hope for a false win? This isn't wrestling, I would like the league to have integrity.

Accurate and fair calls please. If we can't win without favorable calls I don't want to win.

I agree, and Hamilton too. Mix it up on them and mix up some plays. We also have to hard foul LMA(get into his head) and make him uncomfortable. That is what players do to Blake Griffin and what the Bulls do to Lebron.

Draymond Green fouled Blake HARD last night, took the flagrant like a man, and totally swung the momentum of the game. Dubs didn't pull it out, but that shift is what gave them a fighting chance.

I say let DMo body up LMA until he's out of fouls.
