speaking as a huge fan of the guy...Is it my imagination or does this guy always have some sort of physical issue every damn time it's the playoffs?
Truth is we need a healthy Bev and Lin...They're a good tag team. BTW - I am STILL amazed at Beverly's ability to recover.
well, it took overtime for him to have more than 7pts. His OT 7pts was sorely needed, but I expect better than 7pts and 3 asts in 29min of regulation, personally. I'm not "blaming Lin for the loss" or anything, its just that I don't think anything more would've been miraculous or something. I think anything more is expected.
they shouldn't be resting him. make him sleep out in the cold. get sicker. and then contaminate the blazers
@little bit - there are too many kinds of flu - you can't keep getting shots - how often would you want our players to be jabbed by needles? and your fitness takes a hit after you receive your jab (you fall half-sick - because your body is generating anti-bodies to fight the potential flu that you are immunizing yourself against) - for a normal person you may not feel much of a difference, but in a high intensity sport like bball, a minor difference in performance could mean a lot in game time. also there isn't a flu-jab that covers all the flu there is out there (and new ones are popping up frequently, the flu viruses have a nasty habit of mutating rather quickly too). hope this clarifies it for you....
The point is that when his team needed him, and when Harden and Parsons couldn't buy a basket, Lin nearly carried the Rockets to a victory. If it happened in OT when it's most nerve-wracking and tiring, then he'd probably be able to do it in regular time if he's given the opportunity.
