I went up to the meps(military) station this Tuesday. I've been so paranoid about this. I've only smoked three times in my life. Twice out of a small bowl, and once out of a blunt with two others. last time I smoked was in december, but I was recently in a closed car for about 10-20 minutes with two friends who were smoking. I wasn't actively trying to breath it in. I was looking the other way and trying to swat the smoke away when it came near me. This happened on March the 7th. My test was on april 1st. I'm 5'9, 155 pounds. I'm not fat, but I'm not super skinny either. I do have some fat in some areas. I'm also not the healthiest eater and don't drink a lot of water. Drink gatorade though. I don't exercise much either aside from some occasional basketball. My urine also came out very dark and I was worried about that as well. So, if anyone has any experience in this area, your answers would be highly appreciated right now. I've been freaking out for a while now. Thank you in advance clutchfans.
Your urine should come out clear on a drug test, but I just read that on the internet so that's all I have to say about that.
thanks for the answers clutchfans. just trying to calm myself down, because i've been going crazy for the past few days thinking what if i failed. reps for all of you guys,
You are fine.. even if there were some thc in your system, you wouldn't have the amount needed to be positive for thc. No worries.
You are fine. I know someone that passed after smoking the night before. Hard to believe, but they were a very infrequent smoker.
btw: Did you lie to them when they asked if you've ever done drugs, and say you've never smoked? That's a no no. You should always tell the truth. They do random polygraphs now in the Army. Of course, when I told the truth at the MEPS, they made me stand in yet another loooong line to see a psychiatrist. And he was a totally douche. But it made me exempt from polygraphs about drugs after that.
Ugh, I hated MEPS so bad, all the contractors there were such assholes.... I guess it's their job to be, but whatever. My old recruiter told me MEPS job is to mainly not allow you into the military if you have issues or whatever.
Yeah, haha. Most of mine weren't that bad though. I heard it varies by which station you're at. Mine was in Atlanta
