Yep, you're right. I got frustrated watching Harden and Parsons play defense in that first half... but then I just say to myself IT'S ALL LIN'S FAULT... then things are right with the world again.
Dwight/Jones have absolutely nothing to do with Harden's a) EFFORT on D and b) Ability to make a smart pass. Neither are really happening tonight - that's what I call reverting to old bad habits. Someone talked about him saving energy for the playoffs. REALLY!?!?! We're not there yet guys, have not even clinched a spot.
Lin seems pretty much the same to me. When he's had the chance to play PG he's put up high assist games with no looks and alleys to Dwight, etc. His role is just different now.
Ready to start the second half. Team needs to come out focused and ready to take care business. Play any good D and this game can be in W column.
He's the only guy who's made more than one 3 on a team that only shoots 3's Casspi on the other hand.... lol
The subject I brought up was Dmo. And the fact that we are already down 2 big men and with Dmo's 3 fouls in less than 3 minutes of play, we were effectively down 3 big men in the first half, leaving Asik as our ONLY big. What Harden is doing or not doing is whats irrelevant here.
lin needs to be more aggressive @ scoring and quit worrying about whether hes pass first point guard or not
The Rockets are being badly outshot and have twice as many turnovers as the Nets....yet they're down only 3. This game is right there for the taking.
