This clown DH12sTeam or whatever he is called must be a LOF yet to reach puberty. Anyway the only thing consistent about Lin's game is that is consistently inconsistent
3-11 27% FG 1-5 20% 3PT 1 Assist If 1 assist in 26 minutes is him being an unselfish playmaker/shot creator, Harden with 11 assists in 29 minutes is Mother Theresa and Santa Clause's lovechild.
Stats without context is a beautiful thing. He had a shoddy game to say the least, at least he didn't turn it over 10,000 times like he usually does. Stop poking the dead horse and let it go.
1 TO=10,000 times? Per 36 minutes harden turns it over .3 more times yet he has the ball more than Lin.
did you watch the game? he had a and1 wiped out because of stupid foul of beverley. J Jacked fouled lin hard under the basket, terrible call by the referee, they counted that a J Jack block... He had two steals, fight for loose balls and got possessions back, block zeller's shot, rebounded well... He had a solid game, a little bit unlucky though... still did not shoot the three well.... well Lin's 3pts shooting is on, basically he is unguardable... I'd pray for him turning on the 3pts shooting when the playoff is on, it will be crucial for the Rockets.
Noticed you didn't bother to say anything the previous game. Did you watch the game? Lin actually didn't play as horribly as his stat sheet might lead one to believe. He didn't really catch a break this game. Basket waived off on an off the ball offensive foul, a blatant no call on a foul to the basketball, Asik couldn't finish to save his life. He probably got frustrated out there at the end of the game
Is someone here insinuating that Lin is a better playmaker than Harden? I find it quite ironic that the same people who think Lin "is a joke" and is a barely capable NBA player also try to show his inability by comparing him to arguably one of the 5 best players in the entire freakin NBA. I think it should come at no surprise that Lin will have worse games than Harden. For some, apparently that concept is not common sense.
Rewind the tape can check the last 90 seconds of the game. Lin had the ball on his hands in 2 Cleveland's TO, for any PG has a brain will understand in that situation what should he do to finish the game. Check it and tell me what you see there.
They were up 7 with 24 seconds left. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. The game was never in doubt. They were doing enough to seal the deal. Clearly McHale thought so too as he never put in the starters again.
Here com me the lin fans to make excuses for all of lin failures. Same fans that blame everyone else on the team for their mistakes.
The team was collapsing and choking down the stretch, and he also called a time out in mid court earlier with no where to go with the ball. And he knew the other guard on the floor is a completely new rookie. So with 29 seconds left and he just got the ball from a Cleveland TO, what should he do? Yeah, going for another garbage time layup to pad his stats but oops...missed.
lol I'm sure that was exactly what was going through Lin's head. time to pad my stats yo! granted he should have passed - but pretty sure he didn't do it for the 'stats'
Between this and the game thread tonight, you've blamed Beverley, Parsons, Asik, Hamilton & the ref. Anyone left? Sometimes guys just don't have great games. Sheesh.
Don't really see the problem. We won. End of story. Its not like the Harden turnover a few games back with the game on the line. He took a high percentage shot. Better decision would be like you said hold on to the ball but it wasn't exactly all that bad. I will just agree to disagree in this case.
