Bill has covered like every sport in this city. And the fact that he's a Houston tv legend I'm pretty sure he's allowed a little more leeway with he can and cannot say.

But I agree. Some of the things he says nowadays are interesting.

I don't think that comment was that bad though.

 

As an official Rockets commentator, you are not suppose take it there. It's vastly inappropriate. I'm not butt hurt at all, I'm just stating unprofessionalism involved here. If he was a random guy on ESPN, that's okay but he's a Rockets commentator. Casspi might not be an NBA level player but he's still on the team.

 

What did he say bout Casspi? I only heard what he said about Asik-Schaub

 

It's hard to believe how good Harden is when his three ball is falling. Not that he wasn't good before, but when his shot is falling like it is now, it feels like he can just do whatever he wants and the ball is gonna end up in the basket.

 

This little stretch without Dwight will be beneficial both in the short and long term. Asik is not only getting his rhythm back, but he's also making another great audition tape for himself and Morey.

 

Yeah, I think people misheard his remark. He was talking about Omer, not Omri.

Man, our team is so close to being an easy pick for championship. Oh how I wish for K. Love to be in this team? With K. Love spotting on the corner and a pick and roll game between Harden and Howard/Asik. Make it work Morey. I would also love Melo too but I don't know if he can rebound at the 4 position consistently.

He clearly said "We should have traded Omri for Shaub." Not a big deal if he was a random ESPN or TNT guy calling the game. But he's a Rockets "Home Team" Commentator talking about your own player. Omri is a Rocket and until then you don't say something like that...

 

No, it was a joke about how Asik is a better quarterback than Matt Schaub. You definitely misheard.

 

Rox should tighten up their defense in the 2nd half.

The Cavs is a 96.9 PPG team and we have allowed them 55 points in the first half.

Even though we are playing a below .500 team, we should continue to improve our defense for the playoff.

Should do something about Casspi--traveling, clashing with Harden for rebound, missing all 3 shots, no rebound and 2 TOs already--in just 7 minutes. He's got one steal and two blocks though, just to be fair.
