Football fans are not classy anywhere. Players get paid well so I really don't care about their feelings. Schaub can dry his tears with his millions.

60% of Texans fans at the games are drunk Mexicans. It's the same way in Oakland. No better, no worse.

Look, I know football (cried over the Oilers, played high school ball, won multiple intramural and flag leagues). And I know DJ Hayden. We both kicked it at Frontier Fiesta yesterday on campus and talked about the Shoob trade. We both agreed that Shoob is a good ass acquisition for the Raiders, who have been needing a gun-slinger for the past forever.

Shoob is going to look like a probowl MVP again in Oakland. Streater and Moore are going to greatly benefit from having a veteran QB capable of making the throws. Y'all joke about his noodle arm, but I think Shoob will be greatly improved in terms of his physical attributes. He has something to prove. There is a fire inside him after the debacle of this past season.

Shoob will be destructive. But there's no need to worry when we play them next season. Case will be the starter, we will draft Clowney, and we will murk the Raiders without difficulty on our way back to the playoffs. If I'm wrong, I'll be so mad.

Anyone that wants "classy" shouldn't be looking at the NFL, the players or the fans. All three are as classy as WalMart on the first of the month.

As far as Texans fans cheering Slob when he was hurt, who is surprised? It is the NFL.

The Raiders traded for Schaub because not every single team can have the best QB in the league. He may not lead the team to a championship, but he is a top 15 QB in the NFL. I hate that the new status quo is if you don't have the best team in the league you have to be tanking. The Texans were a playoff team 1 year ago, and probably aren't that far away from returning to that success, but everybody would rather tank for some imaginary QB that will magically solve all of our problems in the future. Long live the middle class of professional sports teams!!!

Something along the lines of that happened... and I know for a fact that people put "For Sale" signs in his yard. Sure the NFL isn't a factory for classiness, but fans of other teams I know were pretty shocked at the backlash Schaub received from Houston

Love reading the quotes in the "Is Shlob Leet" and then over here cheering for a sixth rounder.

He wasn't as good as you guys thought then (majority) and he is not as a bad as you think now. I do agree he needed to leave Houston. Last year was just too bad. Unless he just is permanent mental mush from last year, he is nonetheless significantly better than Fitz.
