^ i'm expecting a buyout this offseason..i'm sure Lin's handlers are assuming he's under utilized.

 

I don't believe a buyout is possible, because Lin makes 15m, and any buyout would count against the cap, so if Lin was bought out for 14m, his cap hit would go to 14m instead of 8.3m.

I could be mistaken though, maybe one of our capologists can follow up.

Bev - 1-8, NO rebounds and 1 assist in 32 minutes
Lin - 1-4, 2 rebounds and 3 assists in 15 minutes ...yep...clear as day.

 

Who's been more consistent this year

 

It is clear as day if you watch te game. Bev had 2 steals, Lin had 0. Bev +9, Lin with a +5. I can't remember the last time he wasn't a negative. Lin also missed both his free throws. Lins defense is atrocious while Bevs is amazing.

Oh yeah, Bev 0 TO and Lin had 2 (he probably could have had 4 but got lucky).

 

Even if it only counted as $8 million against the cap it would still be a bad idea.

 

What team in their right mind buys out an expiring contract before the season?

There is always value in an expiring contract, say if we wanted to trade for a Kevin Love type.

He can't even spell badger correctly and every post he makes is worthless. He hasn't put one piece of logical reasoning behind his post other than a repetitive rant saying someone is stupid because he disagrees and is a LOF. I get what you're saying but in the last 15 games, Lin has only been in the negative 3 times. He has been sucking lately, but that's not the metric to prove it.

 

In those same 15 games Bev has been in the negatives 5 times. Weird.
