US has better goaltending. On paper Canada has better forwards and defense, but I'd give the forwards edge right now to the US team because of the Kessel line being effective so far in the Olympics meanwhile Canada really doesn't have a dominant line (or at least it hasn't shown up yet). Tavares being out will help somewhat. I think Canada's defense is definitely better overall. Should be a good game.

Saw a score update on ESPN that said USA - 2, Canada - 0. Tuned in and realized it was the women's game.
Apparently the SK skater was robbed of a gold to a Russian in figure skating. That Russian corruption.
If only that empty net goal didn't hit the post. This will be one epic chokejob if team USA (women) does go on to lose.
Yeah Canada!!! Sick game, and wow would that ref be hated if the puck went in and didn't hit the post. Great game, and tomorrow Can vs US mens is also going to be hype

Ouch. American women choke the gold medal game away to Canada. Won't matter much though if the men can pull an epic win tomorrow in the men's game. And yes, women's figure skating is rigged lol. That was awful.
Total choke job by the women. I'll have you know that when I went home for lunch and started watching the last period of the game...I was thinking we're up 2-0 and looks like we have it in the bag...meaning I totally jinxed em and I was thinking they will blow this. You could tell Canada was dominating us in the third period. They were all over our women and had ample opportunities right at our goal. Oh well...tough luck US women. Live with it!!! I was told not to watch the men's hockey game...but I will try to jinx that one, too.
