people act as if Harden can't catch and shoot, which is just rubbish, and Rondo is brilliant, so he can't shoot the three very well, i think he shoots 40 percent from just inside the arc and he is amazing at driving and dishing the ball to set up team mates.
As has been pointed out multiple times, Rondo CAN shoot......it just matters where. He is an average finisher at the basket, and a great shooter at the elbows. So let's layout a scenario. Rondo has the ball at the top of the key, Harden is off ball on the wing, and Howard is coming to set a screen. What do you do? Rondo is a great scorer on the stop and pop on the elbow, Howard is an elite finisher and has one of the best setup men in the NBA throwing him the ball, and Harden is a good 3 point shooter. Still not saying that you make this trade......i wouldn't......but I think Rondo's "poor shooting" is overblown.

Seems fishy knowing how important brooks has been as 1st G off bench, when lin/bev or harden can’t go. Even last year in the playoffs.
