The Suns won't do that. The Knicks are trying to acquire Collison for Felton & Shumpert. I think Barnes or Dudley will be also included.

Remember, Morey's last tweet (yesterday) was basically saying that what is reported in the media is wrong.

I honestly think he was referring to the Yahoo! report which said the Rockets would LOVE to trade Asik & also that they are actively shopping Lin.

    Rockets in: rondo and Deng

Celtics in: Lin, DMo, smith, and Covington 2014 and 2016 1sts

Cavs in: Asik, Brewer, and Cannan

You get Rondo and Deng all while keeping Parsons and Jones!

    Rondo/Bev/AB
    Harden/Garcia
    Parsons/Deng
    Jones/Casspi
    Howard/Camby

If Morey can do this I'm renaming my son Daryl.

Rockets IN: T. Young, S. Hawes, K. Olynyk
    76ers IN: Rondo, J. Green, O. Asik
Celtics IN: J. Lin, E. Turner, D. Motiejunas

Rockets get stretch 4s in Hawes and Young.
76ers get pieces for rebuilding. Rondo-Carter-Green-?-Asik
Celtics get nice rebuilding pieces as well.

Throw in some picks and call it a day. Thoughts?

Hate everything about Olynyk's game. I am not a fan of his.

The issue is that, for the Sixers, they're trying to actively lose this season. Those guys do the opposite.

Only way this works is if the Sixers just don't play Asik and Green, or play them sparingly and let Rondo rehab AND Canaan is able to take over back up pointguard. Other than that, looks like a good trade for all teams involved.

Aaron Brooks to the Knicks for Shumpert.

Brooks gets to start (good for him), Knicks need a PG more than they need Shumpert (who the ownership is not keen on), and Rockets get a decent 3 & D wing.

I'd throw in a cherry and fortune cookie with that, if Dolan wanted. Something like a 2nd round pick, mutatis mutandis and all that, ya know.

This team as constituted right now is not going to win a championship. Adding a guy like Rondo gets us much closer to that goal.

reevaluating my decision to want rondo and i'll be content if we dont get him

we're in a groove right now

the only thing i'd want is a wing that can come off the bench and shoot some 3s

i would be so happy with that

Jason terry may be bought out. If he is we should definitely sign him.
