    The starting PG of the team we just lost to is >>> any of our PG options. Neither PBev or Lin could even hit a three today.

    We'll one of them helped us get to the playoffs last year & is #3 of all time rockets players in assist averaged his first year & you could argue that neither of our pgs actually PLAY pg the way out offense is ran in Houston

    Simple...
    (1) Beverly is an overrated scrub. LMAO at the suggestion that he is more talented than Lin and a legit starter. The real problem with Lin is that he will always be redundant with Harden playing major minutes (and the rockets going from the PNR for whatever stupid reasons) He should have been traded at the start of the season with Asik to compensate at the SG and PF positions. A clear Morey fail.

    (2) I find it extremely funny that a discussion about the PG position that has no reason to be is getting most of the attention while the more troubling problems on the team is summarily being ignored like Harden having no legit back-up and the cluster**** at the PF position. More importantly, Harden and Howard are being routinely shown up and show no indication of being able to carry a team on a title run. No defensive discipline, lack of heart and chemistry...two unidimensional stars showing little improvement....And what is the talk of the town? "The numbers are clear: Patrick Beverley deserves to start over Jeremy Lin". A cesspool thread instigated by someone who should know better and which only attracts stupid agenda-driven posters. Clutchfans are not ready for the big time.

    The whole team couldn't hit a 3 except parsons, why pick out only Lin and Bev? Casspi made one 3 I think. Can't remember.
