Yeah honestly i can't think of a reasonable trade scenario that would benefit us more than him accepting his role. Solid play from a backup C would help us out so much, especially on those nights when Dwight gets in foul trouble early.

 

nice comeback with d12 in foul trouble and an off night. parsons really is the glue for the starting squad. Tjones is legit now. observation is pelicans have better set plays such as multiple pnRs to get guards open. Still dont get why mchale cant apply such effective tactics. Gonna be rough vs okc.

 

First time seeing Canaan play extended minutes. Man, he's short...and so raw. Need more PT to know his true potential. Seemed nervous to me.

 

Yea, he has the potential to posses those qualities but I think it will come over time, he's only 24 you know.. so there's definitely room for growth. Not to mention the fact that he's already considered the best SG in the league, and by the looks of it he doesn't seem to be content.

The Rockets really have something special on their hands.

Cannan is very athletic, he just needs a little playing time ... he is very explosive and a good shooter..;

This! We have the PF I have no doubt mchale would've had asik finishing that game tonight when Howard was struggling in the post & rebounding. He did it against Memphis. I'm hoping we can get a backup 3 some other mind of way since the PF spot is jones. I would rather asik as a backup center vs any back up 3 going into the playoffs.

Lol we Almost lost to a Pelicans team with Evans,Anderson and Holiday out,this can make it to the Second round at best

 

D-Mo did pretty decent when Howard was on the bench. A few more of these games w/ Smith out will build his confidence. He's much better and guarding jump shooters than Howard.

You say we can make it to the second round at best simply because of tonight's performance. What were you saying when we beat the Spurs on Christmas? Title-bound?

Get a grip. Teams have off nights. It's an 82 game season. The Heat lost to the Wizards tonight by double digits. They can't make it past the 2nd round too?

 

That depleted Pelicans team nearly beat the Spurs at home a few nights ago. Davis and Gordon combo are that good.
