Is Morey's strategy still valid for the team?

For a while there it looked like we could churn players and end up with a contending team.

It does not look like we can tweak or gel our way much above sixth place. It will be interesting to see how long we will sit pat.

More complex play action doesnt necessarily mean we'll be taking different sorts of shots. If we could create open jumpers and driving lanes using a more complex offense like say the Spurs we'd still want to take 3s instead of midrange shots, because it's more efficient and because that's the type of personnel we've been collecting.

Morey, why does our 3 pt shooting percentage drop so much, even we got Howard out there?

To validate a strategy applied in this league, the only way is to look at the outcome- whether the team won championship(s), run deep in the playoffs for multiple years.

I don't mind if we take more 3's as long as:

    1. They are kick out 3's from dribble penetration, which creates a higher percentage shot.
    2. When we miss, we need to do a better job of getting back on transition defense.
