SOOOOOOO glad we did not give away this game. Harden was amazing to close out the game. TJ was awesome too!

I'm pretty sure it's like that with every other sports, not sure why you think it's just happens in basketball because of Jeremy Lin, lol.

This tells me right here it's mental and they're not getting up for every game. They only "wake up" when they feel forced to, after a loss. McHale has to collectively get them to play hard and focused every night.

i can't believe Lin got 43 Minutes!. that's the most as a rocket in regulation he probably has ever gotten. Hopefully Parsons comes back and stabilizes the SF position

Watch whose names you include in there. Check out my posts and see that I've never, even once, used the words "Lin hater", nor have I ever said anything derogatory about any other poster. My great sin is that I've mentioned a few positives about Lin's game which other posters seem to get frustrated at because they have no answer for. FYI...I'm no LOF; I've been a Rockets fan for over 11 years now: I remember Spanoulis, and Mark Jackson, and Yao, and Bonzi, and all those guys. I bleed red and white; and so...watch who you refer to as a "militant LOF". Do I like Lin's game? Sure.

Yea. When you back up both PG and SG, you will have to play heavy minutes. Wish PB speedy recovery.

It is true. Lin is a mediocre to poor starting PG. In a league of 30 starting PG's, Lin will struggle to be amongst the top 18-20. If that is not mediocre, then you have very low standards.

Thank you for not finding Lin to be a mediocre player. I agree the NBA point guard position is quite stacked. He might be a first tier top PG like Westbrook, CP3, Parker, etc. But Lin can definitely hold his own against other PG's. He doesn't get burned like some thinks he does.

You're right. McHale needs to know though that he as the head coach will bear the responsibility for the net coaching results of his team.

How much work, precisely, are (presumably unpaid) people supposed to put in to manage a forum set up for adults to talk to one another about a shared interest?

that's been your mantra since the very beginning. We know your position. Other people feel differently. ANd some people agree with you.

I think Lin can improve and become a top 10 PG in the NBA. maybe not derrick rose in his prime or tony parker, but very competent.

You're right he doesn't get burned, he has been playing very good defense.

Just a note, because somebody likes Lin and points out his good play while other point out his bad plat doesn't make them a LOF.
