do you agree that +/- pt differential is a good guage of who's the best player of a team? or just when its high and it suits your player?

 

Jones is fine offensively. It' be better if he had a jumpshot that actually went down but that might come in time.

Defensively is another matter. He can block shots and rebound but I'm not sure that makes up for being 100% incapable of slowing good PF's.

 

Yeah that's the thing I don't buy getting gassed, especially in this game. THEY HAD 2 FREAKING DELAYS!!!! No excuses, you're either clutch down the stretch or choke!!

 

nightmare game tbh. I'm gonna goto sleep and think back as though we dominated the whole game.

 

got to remember, wall was the #1 draft pick in 2010 for a reason.

 

I didn't call anyone an LOF. I am responding to someone who called Clutch an "LOH", which is an idiotic, non-existent category of fan.

Clutch created this site for ROCKETS fans while Lin was still in Middle School. So using a stupid acronym that implies Clutch 'ONLY' cares about hating Lin is idiotic. It needs to be said.

 

Lin had an Ok game, Nothing to write home about. He shot less than 50%, pathetic in 3 point % and still very turnover prone while letting Wall go off for 23 points and 10 assists - a double double.

I don't see why LOF's are claiming he had a great game when the truth is he had an average game which is perfectly fine because Lin is an average player at best. No more.

Stop trying to portray the mediocre Lin as some all star when he is clearly not. He was the Rockets 4th best player in this game and yet the LOF's have the audacity to make baseless comments LOL

He was not defending as aggressively in the 4Q after he got 4 fouls, Wall made a run, and Spiegel rejoiced.

 

Pretty sure the thing that made me maddest about this game . . . was the fact that I suffered through yesterday's game. Might also be part of the reason the team steadied and won it.

 

rofl, if Lin had an average game...then harden had a terrible game. If Lin had Wall's stat tonight of 8/22 shooting and 10 assists with 3 TOs, he would have been trashed harshly here.

True, unfortunately it seems that way. I still think Morey will do something we never thought about. I'm sure he can see we need some talent and it appears Asik's "injury" is his ploy to sit out on us and not help us win.

 

I wish Friedman and Ackerman still did the podcast. I would kill to hear what they think of the season so far.

Thanks for the correction. Yes, it was +28 before the Wizards run, then he ended the game at +18. You're right...JLin is probably my favorite Rox player, however I'm no LOF. I've been a loyal Rockets fan since 2002. I remember Spanoulis, and Mo Taylor, and Stevie Francis and all the other great (and not so great) Rox players; I watched TMac's amazing 13 points to finish off the Spurs.
