Thanks for this info cyberx - anything else you've been hearing, in terms of trades / what the Rockets are targeting to acquire? And are the Rockets really planning on keeping Asik, or are they still going to trade him at the deadline?

Ugh. A slightly upgraded version of Garcia won't solve much.

We need defense and athleticism from the wing, not more old shooters.

Yeah, and if this is true, doesn't appear money was a factor for him.

Tom Thibodeau wants to win, Chicago will still be able to enter playoffs.

And then proceed to get bounced immediately by MIA/IND.

Guys, this wouldn't be our big trade or pick up.

Yes he's older and does not solve our defensive problems, and that doesn't matter. Thats not what we would adress in this trade. He'd be a nice small addition to our team, and at the right price you always add nice additions when available.

No one. The Rocket is not trading one of the big 3 for role players. Beverley is too valuable. We still need his 40mpg with 1-10, 0 assist.

He's older, but he's a versatile scorer and proven winner (unlike Casspi or Garcia).

Any chance he walks away? Are the Bulls forcing his hand?

He's never played on a good team his entire career. I would think he would be excited to come to the Rockets.

Actually I wouldn't be mad about this. Hinrich is getting old but he is still a good defender and can actually run an offense, and this would let Beverley be the sixth man, the role he's better suited for.

I thought McHale said the problem with the team is defense, not offense. Why does he want another shooter?
