Response Nike decided not to match Adidas' better offer. So it's like Rockets who gave an offer to Lin, which Knicks did not want to match. It's hard to say who dumped whom in this situation.
He does not have a link that Nike dumped Jlin. But I guess he can give you a link that Nike did not match the Adidas offer.
lol... and I found a picture of Adidas' poison pills Watching Jeremy's post-practice interview today, I think Adidas made a great sales pitch a la Morey's #Lin2Rockets pitch. He's so gullible .
i guess the picture was really a video: <iframe src="//instagram.com/p/i142SmuP6X/embed/" width="612" height="710" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>
http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-01-06/jeremy-lin-signs-adidas-endorsement-accord-after-nike-deal-ends Lin joined Herzogenaurach, Germany-based Adidas following the end of his agreement with Nike, which, he said, chose not to match the offer. The 25-year-old declined to comment on financial terms of the new contract.
Dwight goes to Asia often, this is to increase Lin's brand to fellow Asian countries outside of Taiwan. No brainer here for Adidas.
