Mexican isn't a race.

 

No, you just aren't making sense. Okay, there are jokes about Mexican people. But how does that mean "Mexican" is a dirty word? There are jokes about Chinese people. Is Chinese a bad word?

 

Ok technical guy.

Never said any of these were bad words. Just said there's somewhat of a negative connotation. Chinese jokes are few and far between.. and definitely nowhere near the negativity of black and Mexican jokes.

Should be pretty easy to understand, but then again you're probably not trying to understand.

 

I don't know where you got that from, but the word "Mexican" has no negative connotation. The word Mexican is perfectly acceptable.

If you ever watch the news, you will even hear things like "today President Obama met with Mexican diplomats to discuss....".

Mexican is a proper term for Mexican people.

Seems like you are the only one who sees anything negative about it.
