Harden flops. Sure, not to the extent of CP3 (creating something out of nothing), but at times Harden exaggerates the hell out of minimal contact. And the referees tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.

At the same time, people like IJHolmes were saying Both Jrue and Conley ARE NOT in this thread . That's where the argument started .
In case you don't know, these are the same people who've been saying Jrue and Conley are both significantly better players than Lin, so how come suddenly they become scrubs?

LeBron, Durant, Westbrook, Melo, Chandler, Harden, Iguodala, Harden, Love, CP3, D-Will.

The vast majority of those players are undeniable superstars. To be selected for a team like that, you have to at least be in the superstar discussion, though there may be an exception for defensive specialists like Chandler and Iguodala.

 

I don't get the "he needs to show this consistency" comment. He's been consistent this whole season. He's not playing better now than he has for the season and he's shown how he can play with the starters when given a chance. It's now up to McHale to have him start or go back to the bench. I think more than his defense, some guys seem to play better when he's on the court. Guys like T Jones for instance. It doesn't seem Lin has helped Casspi and Garcia that much.

 

Just ask superstars Chris Mullin and Dan Majerle.

Now that Lin puts up 14/10 in back to back 4th quarters, the focus is how bad he sucks in the first three quarters.

 

Conley is good but I don't know many people who attach that label to Holiday. He's ok but that's about it.

 

Someone gad a great line the other day. When Lin got fouled on a 3, it was a bail out. When Lin's 3 catches nothing but net, it was also a bailout.

 

So please remind us how many times Harden has been warned and fined by the league for flopping? You don't exactly get those for your regular flops. Harden is a flopper. Nothing to argue here.

 

It has to hurt you to admit....

Lin is a better player than Bev.
The team wins more with Lin.
The team wins more with Lin starting.
Lin is our best shooting back court player.
Lin plays more consistently good Day than Bev.


As a rocket fan, if my team is considerably better with X player, then I want that player on the floor more. That is why I am a bigger Rocket fan than the Lin bashers. Lol.

Nope. I never said Lin wasn't a better player then Bev and when Bev got hurt I said he should be the clear cut starter. As long as we are winning that is all that matters to me. Sorry to hurt your feelings little guy..

If the team wins more with Lin starting, that's all you need. But also Lin needs to finish games, something he wasn't always doing last season that I hope McHale and Sampson realize now.

 

Holiday was an all star last year and is getting a max salary I believe.
