The reality is that you cant stop HOF scorers. You can only slow them down by making them play D and hope that their other players don't go off on you.

Jones and Casspi were (-18) compared to Dirk
Lin and Brooks were (+21) compared to Calderon and Mekel.
Howard was (+15) compared to Dalembert and Wright.
Parsons was (+6) compared to Marion and Crowder.
Garcia and Brewer were (-31) compared to Ellis and Carter.

Better games by Garcia and Casspi then we probably win.

Too bad PBev is out due to injury. Otherwise PBev could be our man to stop this dirty Dirk.

We can beat Dallas even with Dirk going off. We need to contain everyone else, specifically limit their threes.

Jesus Christ, Dirk would shoot right over Pbev without that fade away jumper. What on earth makes you think Pbev can stop Dirk? Dirk is 7 footer.

Imagine if any other great shooter were 7 feet tall. What would you do with a 7 foot Steph Curry or Ray Allen? You have to front him and funnel him into the paint. There, his shot will not only be contested by another 7 footer but he will have to operate under the same rules as low post bigs.

It's impossible to defend a 7 footer who gets touch foul calls. Even when he isn't going to make a jumper he can swing his knee into the defender or swing his arms sideways and get a shooting foul called.
