Who do the Astros go after now? Benoit, Valverde, Lidge?

What about Fields? He really came on at the end of the season...

Only gave up 3 ERs in his final 16 appearances while striking out 17 and only walking 6 in 16.2 IP. He did sustain a BABIP of .205 during that time span, so we will see if it is something that is sustainable. One thing I really liked from his numbers over that span is that he inherited 8 runners and stranded all of them.

    Baseball Reference for stats

I like Fields. He had bad luck with homers last season. Normal HR luck and cutting down the BBs would make him a very good bullpen pitcher. Based on his history of a lot of BBs, I think this may cut his ceiling to just a good bullpen pitcher.

Surprised he still has to settle for a 1 year deal.

Wesley Wright is still out there...

NM, Cubs signed him yesterday as well.

Amazing how much his K-rate has dropped going from the minors to the majors.

I doubt Guzman makes the 25-man roster.
