Just grabbed his left knee after being pushed by Andrew Nicholson (flagrant 2).

DreamShakeSBN: Rockets may have "deal in place" for Omer Asik, report says http://t.co/Fw5FJKzZzc

Could Spencer Hawes play PF next to Dwight? The guy is shooting almost 45% on 3 pointers this season.

    Still my prediction

Hawes and whoever else he can get from them to prepare for the deadline in feb. & help the team win now. Could be a 3rd team involved also dec.19th deadline. If things work out and the team shows they've improved and are ready for a WCF run, he will not make any moves at feb. Deadline

    Pending feb. Deadline

Cavs are no contenders. Asik is useless to them. It's all about fit and direction.

Asik is the best fit for a contender with a starting spot open.... OKC, Spurs, Miami

Is there any chance Lin is dealt along with Asik? Haven't been keeping up with trade news.

If Hinkie gives us Young and Hawes for Asik he must really appreciate Morey for his new job.

Can't see it happening without Lin being thrown in.

Spurs would want Lin as he is a similar type player to Parker and could probably take-over from Parker in 2-3 years.

Asik doesn't fit their plans for winning a chip this season, especially thinking about small ball match-ups with Miami.

OMG. WE DON'T NEED A STRETCH FOUR!

The reason gasol couldn't play next to howard was because of d'antoni's system, NOT because of he and howard. even howard was critical of d'antoni's system. how the heck did the Two Towers play together? the dream wasn't raining threes was he?

From a pure basketball standpoint I would rather have Young. However, when you factor in contracts and future flexibility, I wuld rather have Hawes. So, if its Hawes and some kind of pick then sign me up!

I hope it's bigger than just grabbing 1 guy from Philly. I want Turner AND Hawes.

Jones is still not ready. He's close, but not there yet. I'd be cool with Young, I think he'd fit nicely. I could see Young and Jones on the floor together in situations, and I still think Jones gets some good minutes if Young (or another PF type) comes, because we still have a hole at backup 5, so I expect us to go small.

We've got lots of options. Whatever we get will be a net positive over Asik right now, since he's not contributing at all.

I would not be shopcked if the Rockets end up getting Anderson Varejao. If i recall, Anderson was another player Morey was a big fan of other than Asik. so why not swap for him? Rockets have enough offensive weapons on this team anyway. Rockets need a physical defensive minded player to play along with Dwight in the frontcourt.

lol, for that you'd need to give up Parsons. That'd be fair, Parsons/Asik for Turner/Hawes.

Hawes is a FA at the end of the season, effectively a rental.
