Amick says a deal is in place, believed to be Philly, but shopping one last time before pulling trigger.

definitely don't agree with that. You know who guarded aldridge the first time we played the blazers? So you want to bring in Verajao to shoot long 2s? Sounds terrible.
We played our C defensively on Aldridge the whole night, Asik at the start, Dwight at the end (yes, Mchale was playing Casspi on Lopez), to act like the Asik/Dwight was anything less than deplorable would be ridiculous. Neither player has any PF defensive instincts either, so it wasn't just offensively we were bad. As for Varejao's shooting, no you don't want him to be lighting up the scoreboard, he's useful because he can shoot that shot at a very high % if his defender sags off him like happened every single play with Dwight/Asik.
Varejao is unlikely at this point but possible. I guess if Anderson V. was 6 years younger and coming out of Brazil that would be another issue. And Aldridge at this point is unguardable.....
lol Milwaukee still going to be bad. Helping or not helping us. They could use another Morey disciple.
Varejao already hurt again: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Cavs&src=hash">#Cavs</a> Anderson Varejao fouled Oladipo and is holding his right knee, in obvious pain on the court with 2:27 left in 1st half.
