Apparently Brooks posted this and then took it down. Too bad, because it's hilarious: http://itsjeremylin.tumblr.com/post/69300743357/heres-the-one-aaron-brooks-posted-and-deleted
People probably misinterpreted it as "disrespectful", so he took it down or turned it private just to avoid the omgdrama.
I doubt that was the reason since Lin posted a similar video from a different camera angle w/o the Rocky theme.
The Rocky theme is what could be seen as disrespectful. It's like mocking his hard work. But I don't think Jeremy Lin is the kind of person that would get bent out of shape about it. He would probably laugh at it.
Jeremy updated his blog: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>a quick blog post update on ... life haha <a href="http://t.co/ypbdhXwMJr">http://t.co/ypbdhXwMJr</a></p>— Jeremy Lin (@JLin7) <a href="https://twitter.com/JLin7/statuses/410576023982338048">December 11, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
How could that possibly be seen as disrespectful?? The Rocky music is typically used to celebrate hard work.
What's Dwight doing? Is he cutting a part like TJones? <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>im completely thankful to God for a brother like <a href="https://twitter.com/Derek_GoldenBoy">@Derek_GoldenBoy</a> <a href="http://t.co/iDBMhgs0xf">pic.twitter.com/iDBMhgs0xf</a></p>— LIL G (@the___genesis) <a href="https://twitter.com/the___genesis/statuses/410622053683703808">December 11, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Yeah like I said, it was probably some of Lin's overzealous fans. Lin and Brooks are almost certainly friendly with each other. We all know Lin is a good guy, and Brooks has matured a lot since the old days. Guys give each other **** all the time, it's how we show we love each other. That and fist bumps and one-armed bro hugs.
Not really. It is often used to be funny. Like if there is a scene in a sit-com where the out-of-shape main character is going to "train" for something, they might start playing the Rocky song and show him drinking raw eggs and then spitting them out, lifting weights but can't get the bar off his chest, etc. Stuff like that. It's become a song that has been used a lot in parodies and comedy sketches. That's why Aaron Brooks did it... because it's funny. It isn't offensive. Just kind of funny.

It's sad how a comedy genius is wasting his life in basketball. Good for Rockets fans, but sad for the rest of humanity.
