Seriously though.. these 2 are so exciting to watch. Did anyone catch the Raptors/Warriors game tonight? It was absolutely entertaining. "After falling behind by 27 points with 9:20 left in the 3rd quarter, the Warriors outscored the Raptors 64-28 the rest of the way as they got hot from beyond the arc: hitting 10 out of 20. Golden State also induced 8 Toronto turnovers in that span." Does anyone think Curry has the possibility of getting MVP this year? http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400489141
Even if LeBron or Durant don't get MVP this year, at least Paul George should be considered before Curry if he continues to put up the huge numbers. The question that intrigues me the most about Curry is this: Is Curry more important to GSW than Chris Paul to LAC? Because if he is, he might be better PG at this point than CP3. And I think he just might be, because he makes so many people around him so much better (Thompson and Iguodala first come to mind).
Is wasnt even curry who brought them all the way back. David lee was huge in the comeback along with klay. It's funny when people say player x can win the MVP such as love or curry or LMA. No they can not LBJ is having one of his best years ever.
Of course LeBron is a lock for MVP also this year, but Curry has a great year too: 22.3 pts 8.7 ast 4.3 reb 47% for 2 44% for 3 88% for 1 If you take out LeBron and Durant, who are freaks and MVP candidates every year, I think Curry should be taken into serious consideration with stats like that and the fact he makes his teammates better and his team win more games.
This. They haven't done that well against quality teams. They are also shooting lights out (everybody is like 45% from 3) even for their standards. I refuse to believe that's sustainable.
I agree, although some losses against contenders were really close (2 points against SAS, OT against OKC...). Just when they figured out how to use Igoudala properly, he went down and they went 3-3 in his absence. When Igoudala returns to his pre-injury form, I see them in Top4 in the West.
Chris Paul is more important and CP3 would make those guys better too. Chris Paul is still the best pg in the league
Steph Curry is number 2 all time in career 3 point percentage. And yes, it's only his 5th year in the league, however he's already made more 3 pointers than most guys on the all-time % list. It's safe to say he's already one of the all-time great shooters in the NBA. And the thing that makes him more impressive is his ability to "get" his shot himself. [[Doesn't make him an MVP candidate!]]
Curry does make his teammates better. Especially if you watch the dubs play last year, he did more than just dish and shoot 3's. It's still early in the season but you can't dictate a player's skill based on their team's position in the West, which is stacked with good teams.
