    Hit knee with Milsap 4 min into the first quarter. Knee contusion. X ray and MRI came back negative. Should be OK.

    Again, we struggled badly against the Jazz, Raptors and Bobcats, and even lost to the Sixers already this season -- all of whom have way worse records than the Hawks. And we had ALL of our guys for those games. It's really sad to see some "fans" downplay what our bench did last night just b/c they'd rather not admit we were able to put together a decent game without Harden and Lin. That's not a knock on either of them -- we need them both. But you'd think people would be GLAD the team is deep enough to win without them, instead of trying to discredit the win to support their own agendas.

    People do realize that without two desperation heaves(Sixers/lakers)and a monumental collapse(Mavs), this team is 14-2.

    I'm tired of hearing complaints, as this team will be the best team in the West by years end.

    Actually, it isn't just the two "heaves". Neither were heaves, first of all. The Blake shot was a great look and a guy that knocked down the shot and the other shot was a good, contested shot with a guy having a career night stepping up. But there were collapses in the whole team defense that led to the team being in a position to have the game tied late in the 4th. The team is showing improvement, but it has a long way to go to get to the Spurs and OKC level of team play. I think that probably won't happen this season. 11-5 is just about right for this team.

    1, trade harden for paul george, lin for dragic;
    2, tradd AB for lowery; garcia for westbrook;
    3, then trade paul for ab and garcia for dragic.

    then we'll have

    1st unit: westbrook, lowery, ab, fg, howard
    2nd unit: pb, tj, oc, cp, asik.

    boom, there you have it.

    yeah I agree but think he is coming out of those ways, he is opening up to an rotation already. Lin,asik,Garcia casspi are all seeing mins... That's a 9 man rotation

    If you notice he has been going with ASIK to close out games recently, & this has been when games are in reach of other team. so he's opening up some

    Actually the Mavs game was a statistical outlier. The Mavericks shot an unbelievably high percentage, including difficult shots. That is a game you normally win over 99% of the time. The Lakers and Sixers games are ones that more talented teams typically win; and that doesn't even include the fact Harden has been injured. This Rockets team could realistically be 13-3. Over the course of the season it will even out.

    I would take the "under" but 60 wins is not impossible.

    Steve Blake lifting a high arker over Dwight, and a bomb from Anderson being draped by a Rockets defender. Please. Those were both lucky shots.

    I figure we will be good for about 55-60 wins. Hopefully we improve upon that this season, unfortunately this year I'm not sure that's even good for home court advantage in the West.

    By the way, that Blake shot was a good look, but that Anderson shot was certainly a "heave." Very low percentage shot right there. Rudy Gay's shot was up there too, but we won that one thankfully.

    Pretty sure every team has had several games where they should have won but didn't. Who's to say the Rockets wouldn't end up right back where they are now, assuming every team in the league wins the games they were supposed to win? This is why I don't give a damn about these "The Rockets should be X-X right now" threads.

    A defensive collapse allowed those shots to matter. If the Rockets take care of business when they are up 10+, those shots won't matter.
